This mod adds the DL-44 Heavy Blaster from Star Wars into Space Engineers. To obtain this weapon in game you must build it at an assembler (even in creative). The ammo (power pack) can also be built at an assembler (only necessary for survival). The blaster has a custom sound/model and it fires a red blaster bolt.
In my opinion this mod is relatively balanced for survival but if you think it is too weak or too strong let me know. The weapon does pretty good damage but it only has a range of 300 meters and is fairly inaccurate when aiming any farther than ~50 meters.
At the moment all weapons are forced to be automatic but if it ever becomes possible in the future I will most likely change this weapon to not be automatic. Another thing that I don't know how to change is the "aim" (right click) position. So currently "aiming" doesn't really help.
I had an issue with the texture on the scope glass but seeing as the scope isn't actually functional I decided that I am too lazy to fix it. There was supposed to be glass on either end of the scope but for some reason it is invisible on the side facing the player.
