Ever had a hard time lining up a ship to dock?
Note: I changed the functionality a little bit to make it more intuitive. Once the red dot is lined up you will not need to keep it lined up as you move. Just move the yellow dot ontop and you will be lined up!
This mod gives your ship a HUD that lets you select the block you want to dock with then it assists you in lining it up.
Use with the Text HUD API to display the mod's instructions as you dock.
Ctrl to enable the dock hud while piloting a ship (if you are close enough to a valid connection) ctrl again to disable hit shift (once, and slowly) to cycle through connectors/merge blocks on your ship.
If you put the Red dot on the Blue dot then the ship's connector/merge block is lined up with its target. Moving the yellow dot onto the blue dot means that your grid is also grid aligned if you bring roll rotation to 0.
For connectors, line up the red dot then move the yellow dot to the center and you are good to go.
