SE has had Letters since 2020, and Neon Tubes since 2022. Now there's Neon Letters!
Finally, you can add lit-up letters and symbols to your grids to add that extra bit of flair, identify your drones with a glowing number on the side, advertise your name on the side of your ship so your enemies know who's coming - whatever your heart (if you have one) desires!
Emissive Letters & Symbols introduces the same full set of 44 letters, numbers and symbols that were introduced in 2020, and are modeled from the same font - but adjusted to be "feasible" with Neon tubes.
Both Large and Small grid included, LOD's, 2 build states, grouped the same as the vanilla letters, but with the added features of neon tubes - meaning you can change the color simply by painting them, and they stop emitting when their grid loses power. They won't clutter up your grid's control panel, so use them everywhere you want!
There are currently 54 characters included -- Letters: A-Z -- Numbers: 0-9 -- Symbols: & ' - _ . : ? ! -- [and 10 more symbols in the 1.1 update below]
Version 1.1
Symbols added:
-- Single, Double and Triple Chevrons -- Arrow and Angled Arrow (45 degrees) to give 8 different rotations total -- Heart -- Square, Circle, Triangle and X (like Game Controllers) the X 'symbol' is modeled differently, and larger than the Letter X.
(Note: Since they are not in the vanilla symbols collection, I chose to make these new symbols as tall as they are wide, which allowed a little more freedom to get a better visual look. )
Bugs Fixed:
-- Collision box for Letter L was incorrectly rotated. -- Collision box for Letter C was incorrectly sized.

Bugs Fixed:
-- Updated the Large Block and Small Block categories to match the Contact update changes to these categories -- Updated Single, Double and Triple Chevron collision box locations
More symbols are being planned and you're more than welcome to suggest others in the comments below but please bear in mind that more complex shapes won't be possible due to the size of the tube and other constraints.
