Fast Ore Refining (2x Slower than Iron)

Tired of waiting 10 to 100 times longer for Platinum, Uranium, or Cobalt compared to basic Iron? This Quality of Life (QoL) mod fixes the wildly unbalanced vanilla refining times.

What this mod does:

⚙️ Equalizes & Accelerates: All ores (except iron ore) now refine into ingots exactly 2 times slower than vanilla Iron Ore refines into an Iron Ingot.

⚙️ No More Bottlenecks: Say goodbye to massive ore stockpiles waiting hours to be processed. Late-game resources are now as convenient to refine as early-game ones.

⚙️ Balanced Gameplay: It does NOT make refining instant. It simply removes the annoying, disproportionate grind while keeping the production loop intact.

Affected Ores: Nickel, Cobalt, Silicon, Silver, Gold, Magnesium, Uranium, Platinum, and Stone.

Changes: NickelOreToIngot: 0.66sec → 0.1sec (x6.6 faster) CobaltOreToIngot: 3sec → 0.1sec (x30 faster) MagnesiumOreToIngot: 0.5sec → 0.1sec (x5 faster) SiliconOreToIngot: 0.6sec → 0.1sec (x6 faster) SilverOreToIngot: 1sec → 0.1sec (x10 faster) GoldOreToIngot: 0.4sec → 0.1sec (x4 faster) PlatinumOreToIngot: 3sec → 0.1sec (x30 faster) UraniumOreToIngot: 4sec → 0.1sec (x40 faster)

Stone to Ore: Large Refinery: 10sec → 2sec (x5 faster) Basic Refinery: 1sec → 0.5sec (x2 faster) Deconstructor: 0.1sec → 0.05sec (x2 faster)

Vanilla IronlOreToIngot refining time: 0.05sec

Technical Details:

✅ Lightweight: This mod uses simple XML overrides. It does not contain any custom models, scripts, or heavy assets.

✅ Safe: It only changes the <BaseProductionTimeInSeconds> for specific blueprints. It will not break your save file or conflict with most other mods.
