This script checks your ship's weight and upward thrusters to show you how much gravity you can handle, how much extra cargo you can carry, and how high you can fly before your atmospheric thrusters lose power.

Features

• Thruster Power Breakdown: Visual bars showing how much lift comes from your Hydrogen, Atmospheric, and Ion thrusters.
• Cargo Limits: Shows the exact extra weight (in tons) your ship can carry before falling out of the sky in 1.0G (Earth) and 1.2G (Pertam) gravity.
• Atmosphere Limit Warning: Calculates the height above ground where atmospheric thrusters fade out and non-atmospheric thrusters must carry 100% of your ship's weight.
• Multiple Screen Options: Fits on cockpit screens or standalone LCD panels.
• Planet-Specific Models: Works accurately on both normal atmospheres (Earth-like, Mars, Alien) and thin atmospheres (Pertam, Triton).

How to Setup

Method 1: Cockpit Screens

Select your Cockpit, Flight Seat, or Remote Control in the control panel, open CustomData, and paste whichever screens you want to use:

SCREEN_0=LIFT:GRAPHIC
SCREEN_1=LIFT:DATA
SCREEN_2=LIFT:FULL

(Change the screen number to match the cockpit screen index you want to display on.)

Method 2: Standalone LCD Panels

Add one of these tags anywhere in the name of your LCD panel:

• [LiftDisplay:Graphic] — Compact thruster power bars.
• [LiftDisplay:Data] — Clean, condensed text readout for small displays.

What is Break-Even Altitude?

As you fly higher, planet air gets thinner and Atmospheric thrusters produce less force.

Break-Even Altitude is the height above ground where your Atmospheric thrusters lose so much power that your Hydrogen or Ion thrusters have to hold 100% of your ship's weight to keep you from falling.
