While reverse engineering some alien nano-tech we discovered a way to polarize protons and electrons such that the materials require 1/2 the matter and are twice as strong.

We have already started production of our new line of materials. You can find them at Galactic Hardware locations everywhere.

(This mod makes all materials and equipment in the game have 1/2 the weight and twice as durable. Making vanilla built ships faster to accelerate and more maneuverable, with increased armor strength. Its a good balance for modded weapons.)
