Gas-tronomical Realism

This mod adds mass to gases - in an accurate fashion. This gives meaning to the rocket equation as your ship gets lighter as you lift off in gravity and burn fuel, adding just a bit of complexity and forethought back into fuel management.

It is a spiritual successor to "Gases with Masses", although re-designed from the ground up with accurate mass distribution.

Accurate?

Oxygen and Hydrogen have different mass, a fact that has to be taken into account when giving mass to the gases in Space Engineers. And of course we want to conserve mass, as the law of conservation of mass dictates.

If you process 1000kg of Ice, you should expect the resulting gas to also have a mass of 1000kg - that is of course, if you capture both the Oxygen and the Hydrogen.

1000kg of Ice process into 888.9kg of Oxygen and 111.1kg of Hydrogen, as their atomic mass and the composition of water ice dictates.

Features

Hydrogen and Oxygen tanks, vanilla and modded, large and small, will have mass added corresponding to their fill-state. The tanks are otherwise entirely unmodified, their inventory can still be used and bottles still be filled.

By default, the extra mass will not be applied to NPC-owned grids. An option is available to turn it on for NPCs as well if so desired.
