Your drills fill a cargo hold in minutes? Store up to 8x more per container, and press your ore ten times denser with the Ore Compactor. Every refinery turns compressed ore straight into ingots: no decompressor, no extra step. From the same set as Helios Fusion Reactors and Helios Ion Thrusters, but a mod of its own.

Ore Compactor

• Large grid, 1x2x1. Presses 10 kg of ore into one Compressed Ore with the volume of one kg: same mass, a tenth of the space
• Up to 1,000 kg of ore per second for 2 MW
• Iron, nickel, cobalt, magnesium, silicon, silver, gold, platinum, uranium and stone
• Any refinery refines compressed ore straight into ingots: exactly 10x the ingots of the ore inside it, in 10x the time, with the refinery's own efficiency and yield modules. Works in the refinery, the industrial and Prototech refineries and the basic refinery (common metals and stone)
• Compressed ore in a T3 large container: 80x the ore of a vanilla large container

Features

• Built on the vanilla containers' detailed models, upgraded with Helios edge rails and glow in the tier colour: cyan, violet, orange
• Fill gauge: the rail lights fill up with the cargo and pulse when the container is full
• Animated hydraulic press: the ram strokes down while the compactor works, the ore brick glows on every press
• Construction stages while you weld
• Own toolbar icon for every block and item, and its own block category

Good to know

• The compactor takes ore from the conveyors like a refinery. Where your refineries should get the raw ore, switch the compactor's "Use Conveyor System" off or put it on its own conveyor network
• Ice is not compressed (gas generators could not use it)
• Safe to add to existing worlds. Vanilla blocks and recipes are not changed, only added to
