Description

A light and cheap general purpose attack vessel, the Imp is capable of travelling in any environment. It is primarily useful as a Scout where it's excellent acceleration can be used to chase down fighters or provide intelligence on enemy positions. As it's low mass suggests, it's primary defence is speed and it is unsuitable for prolonged engagements. Against larger vessels pilots should rely on hit and run attacks with it's rocket launcher.

Author's Notes

Pilots are advised that the location of the rocket launcher means the the Imp should not lower it's nose or fly in a downward direction while firing. On the flip side, the positioning should mean it is less likely that the rocket launcher is destroyed at the start of combat, which is a problem with launchers mounted right at the front.

Use rear thrust to brake if dropping from space. Use Thruster Override to conserve fuel while leaving planets.

This ship was inspired by the Rocinante/Tachi from The Expanse.

Notes

I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival, if you use my ships and find a bug/problem, let me know.
