Khelek is an icy world with 0.5 G gravity. The planet contains a thick ice layer, with deposits of gold, silver, platinum, uranium, and magnesium. Unusually, the planet's atmosphere is only reasonably thick at low elevations, requiring atmospheric vehicles to skim relatively close to the surface. Most of the planet is characterized by icy plateaus separated by valleys that often contain many stones. Khelek has a single large crater that may be a desirable location for colonization.
