Full Automatic Vanilla searchlight! For illuminating the skies and helping direct fire to targets! NO SUPERGRID SETTING NEEDED. Can be used together with DDS based weapons systems on same grid! All you need to do is slave to their designator and that's it.
Incredibly "light" at only 81 blocks! Range (vanilla limitations) only 160m Automatic turn on turn off
Installation in a nutshell: Paste onto your ship Add a designating turret (interior, gatling etc) and rename it "Designator". Add said designator to the premade Turret Group You're set!
For installing additional turrets using Whip's the installation can get tricky, so I'd refer you to the script's workshop for further detail. Send them some love too for the amazing work they have done.
Uses Whip's AI Turret Slaving script because as it stands Diamond Dome requires you to have a weapon installed for turret to operate.
