This mod generates caves of varying sizes and shapes using MES by spawning in temporary grids that begin clearing the voxel inside themselves then despawning. On completely flat terrain like an ice lake these caves will be 1m-8m underground. Caves can spawn regardless of terrain and on any planet, it's entirely possible for them to appear on the side or top of mountains. Currently has 15 Small, 15 Medium and 15 Large Caves. /MES.SPI.CAVES-Admin-Caves will spawn a special version of a random cave that sends a GPS of its location.
-Potential Issues
Large caves can cause temporary game pauses of 3-5 seconds when spawning Voxel clearing can take a few minutes for large caves Spawning multiple caves in quick sucession can cause only the first spawn to clear voxel correctly Caves are sometimes very small if the majority of it spawned above the terrain Only been tested in SP so I have no idea how it will affect local MP or Dedicated Servers.
