Here at AVTech we value sleep. Without a proper night's sleep how will we bring you fine people the best technologies from decades ago? Our first offerings of flat sleeping surfaces were nice in a time where the only option was to freeze yourself in cyrostasis, hardly a comfortable nights rest. Noting the void, a standard issue bed-like device blueprint has been given to engineers. While this does get the job done, it leave something to be desired for comfort. I mean just look at the thing, we'll not repeat what we think it looks like (but most of us aren't really into that sort of thing).
So in effort to bring the best sleeping surface science can provide, we spent several days sleeping on every combination of components the basic assembler can spit out. After several sleepless nights, we then decided to try assemble something out of the components. Who'd of thought that this would yield far better results then just sleeping of a pile of components (We swear we didn't think it would cause so much pain Janice, we'll get you in touch with a really good Chiropractor)!
The results are several types of objects we are proud to call Beds! No bars, no chains, no gags; what were we talking about again? Oh yes! The beds are just a sturdy frame with some soft body and head supporting canvas. We've had such good nights of rest that we never want to get up! Now we just need to find a way to bring the research to us in our beds.
