Ore Generator - Make ore from electricity!

Hi All,

I made this as I was getting requests for an Ore Generator mod that could cater for all the different mods out there with custom ores, like Industrial Overhaul as an example.

This mod will automatically create a list of all the Ores in the game world dynamically on game load and spawn all the Ore types automatically in the blocks inventory, with no direct interaction required.

The automatic generation is based on the settings outlined below using nothing but electricity.

You can balance this however you like using the settings below.

The block has full build stages, LOD's & animation.

Settings & Log file is in the below folder: - %AppData%\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\<YourSteamID>\<YourSaveGameName>\ Storage\OreGenerator_OreGenerator\

Settings available: -

• The amount of power required to create ore (5MW by default).
• The amount of seconds between ore spawn cycles (10 seconds by default).
• The amount of each ore that spawns (change the number before the comma, 10 for each ore by default).

What does the Yellow Emissive mean? Not enough power on grid to power ore generators.

Wishlist

• Modify the code to allow for ores requiring power AND another resource to generate an ore, eg. everything requires power plus X amount of stone to make an ore.
• Change settings file to terminal controls on the block itself.
