BoZ Corp. is back with its latest interplanetary shuttle.
The Pegasus model has been updated for planets and now fills the role of interplanetary shuttle. This shuttle is capable of breaking atmosphere without the need for hydrogen thrusters. Although the Pegasus does contain two large hydrogen tanks to meet hydrogen shipment demands. If need be expansion ports on both sides of the ship can be equipped with hydrogen thrusters for extra lifting capacity.
I hope the process to break atmosphere feels natural, as I try to design all my ships ergonomically. In order to achieve escape velocity fire up the downward facing atmospheric thrusters this will allow the Pegasus to lift off vertically from the planet surface. Once you reach max speed and before you reach 3500 feet nose up about 45 degrees. You can point the nose up 45 degrees much sooner and I usually do; just hold (Space bar) while flying forward. Once you see that the atmospheric thrusters are no longer providing thrust, nose up until you are perpendicular to the planetary gravity and rocket into space.

Slightly larger brother ship Chrysaor that stays in space for the Pegasus to dock and exchange supplies and vehicles with.
The Chrysaor remains in orbit when the Pegasus shuttle is deployed to planets. The two side hydrogen thruster pods double as drop pods when in orbit to resupply ongoing missions on the planets surface, or be used to send supplies from the planet to the Chrysaor.
The Chrysaor borrows a number of design elements from the Calypso. The landing bay has been widened to accommodate an additional landing space that is often used as a staging area for ships being loaded and unloaded from the Pegasus' hangar bay. The Chrysaor shares the same rear module design as the Calypso, allowing modules to be easily swapped.
I will work on making a drop-able base pod for the Chrysaor.
