Made for the Guardians Vanilla PvPvE Server

STORY

Galados V was once a lush forest planet with a temperate climate, similar to earth. it was newly discovered and had a very small colony of prospecting settlers. While off planet to purchase supplies one of the settlers purchased an interesting looking plant from a trader. He brought the plant back to keep by the window of their house. The trader sat it outside unattended one day for sun and by the end of the day the plant had overgrown the farm. By the end of the month the plant had overgrown the small settlement and began turning the ground into a gooey living substance. The alien substance wasn't harmful to the settlers but it kept spreading and absorbing every bit of moisture out of the air. The oceans began to shrink as rain became less frequent and lowlands eroded into dust. The alien plant life had a harder time terraforming the new dust and sand than the grassy hills where it had started. The last remnants of the native green earth-like plants form a few small oasis around frozen lakes where a tiny fraction of the air is still breathable.

DETAILS

On Galados V you'll find wide deserts, large frozen lakes, new custom alien flora, expansive weather system with 6 new weather types that dramatically change gameplay, canyons for rover and aero racing, and rover friendly trails and switchbacks around the north pole.

NOTICE

Minor changes to terrain and voxel types may be made to adjust resource balance, and improve gameplay experience for the GV server. Extreme care was taken to remove all heightmap seams, but some may exist. If they do, please take a screenshot from high altitude and send to me so I can fix it.
