Some of you know i lost a lot of data when my PC died so i kinda lost track of what and hows, from data loss and data recovery etc. It's a mess but i'll manage, hopefully. xD For now, consider this a beta placeholder with functional cockpit animations. LOD's are now missing because they were what made the mess but otherwise should be functional (with the original quirks).
HUGE THANKS to Keen, SE community and special thanks to SEModder4™, Eikester, Digi and Phoera. They are actually behind this mod, i'm just the annoying guy with a lot of questions. Thanks guys!
Enjoy!
Legacy description is left as is in the discussion since i plan on pretty much redoing the whole mod. Also waiting for DLC SDK support. Please help me out with this one by rating: https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general/topic/add-dlc-to-modsdk So i can make the DLC's cockpit also animated. THANKS!

ABOUT THIS MOD A proof of concept with animated canopy. It has some obvious bugs because im not a coder and this is as far as i got to a working one. If anyone is willing to help out that knows coding and matrix, would be very appreciated. Tries to accomplish this in the most vanilla/integrated way possible. It's one block, place it and your done. A working animated cockpit right there. xD
Current issues: • Missing LOD's • The highlights are still buggy (from old days), trying to fix it. • I'm aware of some missing polygons on/inside cockpits, im fixing them as well. Those cockpits were not meant to be opened. :P • Still working on the animations etc. Just need a little more time. • Also, sounds should be added for opening and closing. • States don't save yet. Again, a scripter would be very appreciated!
If there are any other bugs, please comment below. Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated as well and rate if you find this useful. :)
