The Sandbag
The sandbag is a cheap, light and easily deployable turret designed for placement around areas of interest until more permanent defenses can be built. It is a completely vanilla build.
It comes prefitted with a single gatling turret for engagement of light drones, 4 decoys to extend survivability during engagements and parachutes for dropping into hostile territory.
With a battery and solar panel it will run out of ammunition long before it runs out of power.
- remote on/off turret control via a transmitter script for when you're picking up salvage
- remote parachute control, landing gear control and antenna broadcast on/off switch
- antenna starts with broadcast in off position to prevent HUD clutter
- survival tested against enemy drones
- low profile makes for simple printing
- all light armor for minimising costs
- deploy in large groups for maximum effect
- avoid low altitude placement as turret range is limited to 600m
