Do you want more NPC ships to play with ingame? Are you ready to serve the Rebel cause? Then this is the mod for you! This mod is a small part of an ongoing project to get multiple factions into the game. The FTL Federation pack adds a few ships of FTL's Galactic Federation to the existing NPC spawn list. These ships are all survival ready and are ready for action.
Their loot has also been carefully balanced with the base game ships, so the risk/reward will be pretty close to what you're used to. Some of them even have a few tricks up their sleeves to ward off boarders, so be careful!
I'll be updating this mod over time with additional FTL ships, and will be adding mod-free and Rebel packs in the future! Have fun, let me know what you think in the comments, and enjoy blowing up those alien-loving jerkbags!

Ship Info:
Federation Transport Small, lightly armed space vessel. Transports cargo to aid larger ships. Defense: 0.5 Offense: 0.5 Acceleration: 2 Mobility: 6 Security: 1
Federation Scout Small scouting vessel. This ship has a standard armament and defensive setup, but is extremely quick and navigates the battlefield with ease. Defense: 0.5 Offense: 2.5 Acceleration: 10 Mobility: 5 Security: 1
Federation Bomber Large assault ship. While not particularly maneuverable, its two external torpedoes and several rocket turrets give this federation ship a powerful punch. Defense: 1.5 Offense: 5 Acceleration: 9 Mobility: 5 Security: 5
Federation Cruiser "Kestrel" Heavy combat ship. This old decommisioned ship is no joke. Heavy armor plating, a potent forward battery, and layers of defensive systems will make this ship a challenge to take down. Defense: 3 Offense: 5 Acceleration: 2 Mobility: 4 Security: 6
