Extend the maximum detection radius of supported ore detectors to 500 metres.

Use the game’s native ore-detection system with a larger adjustable range, without adding new blocks or requiring an additional UI framework.

Supported Ore Detectors

• Standard large-grid ore detector.
• Standard small-grid ore detector.

• Type II small-grid ore detector.

Each supported detector receives the same 500 m maximum radius.

How to Use

• Enable the mod and load your world.
• Select a supported ore detector in the standard block terminal.
• Adjust its native range slider up to 500 m.

Existing range selections are preserved. Installing the mod raises the available maximum; it does not automatically set every detector to 500 m.

Installation

Subscribe to this item and enable SHift K Advanced Ore Detector in your world’s mod list, then load the world.

SHift K UI is not required. No chat commands or separate configuration window are needed.

Current Notes

• Handheld drills are not modified.
• Custom ore-detector subtypes added by other mods are not included.
• Ore detection uses the game’s native scanning and display behaviour.
• Another mod overriding the same detector definitions may affect the resulting maximum range.
