Description
The Earnest is a simple Heavy Goods Vehicle designed to transport cargo across the surface of celestial bodies relatively cheaply. The vehicle utilises the detachable SIM Standard Cargo Pod for ease of loading and sorting. When loading and unloading, the pod can be easily swapped out by the Eager Cargo Drone and stacked ready for transport by other means.
As a civilian vehicle, Earnest is not armed or armoured and should be escorted through hostile territory.
Instructions
Disconnect the Cargo Pod by switching the Merge blocks on the pod using the lower button on the pod or Toolbar 2 When carrying heavy loads, make sure that the Eager Cargo Drone has connected to the upper merges before disconnecting the lower merges. Disable rear steering (Toolbar 7) when travelling at high speed, switch it back on for parking and manoeuvring. When driving on moons, use the terminal screen to decrease the power and max speed of the wheels group by two thirds. If you roll, use gyro override (Toolbar 6) to put the truck back on it's wheels. Stiffen the suspension (Toolbar 8) by increasing it's strength when under load and/or using ramps.
