About Stone Reprocess

From mod.io

Changes how much Gravel, Iron, Nickel and Silicon you get from processing/refining Stone in an attempt to make it a little more balanced.

What does this mod do?

1. It changes how much Gravel, Iron, Nickel and Silicon you get from processing/refining Stone in an attempt to make it a little more balanced and encourage the Engineer to seek ore deposits.

2. It allows a refinery to 'reprocess' gravel for a little additional Iron. Nickel and Silicon - while techno-magickly removing the gravel (efficient processing methods)

Reasoning

While mining out some Gold with an automated mining system, the amount of stone processed resulted in no longer having to seek Iron deposits - ever. This is my attempt to bring ore deposits (especially for Iron) back into focus and priority.

Survival Kits. As these are designed to assist the Engineer in establishing a new base or colony, the ratio of resources gained from processing stone has only minimally been changed - resulting in a 2x increase in Gravel, 1/2 standard Nickel and 1/4 Standard Silicon (Iron remains the same)

Refineries (Basic & Full). I have drastically nerfed the return on investment when it comes to processing stone. ie. Return is approx only 10% of a Survival Kit. Why is this you may ask - they are better refineries. Partially correct :) They are more advanced and specialized refining systems designed to process pure ores, and as such are highly inefficient in basic processing of stone.

* Refinery (Full). Because of the advancements in refining processes used within a fully refinery, it now has the ability to process tailings (ie. Reprocess the waste Gravel from previous processing). This is a highly efficient system, resulting in 0 waste - however the amount of resources gained is small - almost not worth it (from a usable resource point of view)

Goal

Go out and find them Ores - An Engineer should not build by stone alone .. And have fun.

(This mod was designed for a private server and will most likely clash with any other mods that effect values of resources generated by refineries and survival kits)
