T42 "Tessa Bee" Reg. No. T42 – EE9 –F06- G HE44 Class Interstellar Resources “Asteroid Cracker” Medium Mining Vessel – Drone configuration ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The HE44 Mining Vessel is part of a line of ships known colloquially as “asteroid crackers”, long range industrial frames designed to go after individual asteroids and strip-mine them using drones, laser cutters and ore conveyors. The Tessa Bee is configured as a drone launcher, with a titanic hangar capable of launching 30 mining drones at once. A typical asteroid job involves latching on to the target, mining it completely using drones and depositing the ore into the ship’s built-in refinery on the vessel’s spine. The HE44 class also has an oversized ion thruster block that grants it high maneuverability. Like many long-range prospector ships, the Tessa Bee has an oversized comms array. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
