This mod adds target lead indicators to the HUD. They work with any weapon and any other HUD mod!

A Little Example:

Tell Me More...

In all cockpits you will now find 4 new setting. A switch to enable or disable target indicators (This can also be added to the toolbar), the range to detect targets, the minimum size of grid to detect and an option for adaptive indicator sizes.

When indicators are enabled all hostile grids within the set range, and larger than the minimum grid size, will have a red diamond drawn around them. The size of the diamond is normally fixed but with adaptive indicator sizes enabled it will change to fit around any size of grid. If you have a weapon equipped on the cockpit’s toolbar (or are controlling a turret from the cockpit) a white circle will also appear on you HUD for each target. This is a lead marker that shows where you should aim to hit your target. It considers the targets velocity, your velocity and the speed of the projectiles your weapon/turret shoots.

Notes

It should work with all modded weapons but only considers 1 type of ammo for each weapon; so, if your gun has multiple ammo types that travel at different speeds the lead indicator may be slightly incorrect. This is not the case for turrets, they should be correct regardless of which ammo they are using.

Happy hunting ;)
