Transmit real electrical power wirelessly between bases, ships, outposts and stations in Space Engineers.

TX draws from the real source grid, link losses are paid upstream, and multiple receivers share the same available budget. Adding RX blocks never creates energy.

Supports single player, hosted multiplayer and dedicated servers.

Quick start 1. Build TX on a powered grid and RX on another grid. 2. Enable Tesla Link and select the same Channel. 3. Set access/range on the TX. 4. Turn on a destination load.

Main features • Small + Large Grid standard TX/RX. • Long Range directional TX/RX up to 100 km. • Dedicated Small + Large Grid Relays, multi-hop routing and local power for street lighting. • Channels 001-999 and Owner/Faction/Public access. • Real demand sharing, route losses and cycle protection. • Wireless Power Priority for RX grids. • Long Range line-of-sight, gimbal tracking and sticky pairing. • Mobile Long Range RX support up to 30 m/s. • Startup recovery/self-healing for disconnected powered TX networks. • Electrical-group support through rotors and pistons. • Server-authoritative multiplayer network simulation.

LCD apps • TeslaPowerNetwork - local block/channel/power/link telemetry. • Tesla TX Monitor - TX draw, useful power, loss, efficiency, receivers and history. • Tesla Power Network Flow Map - whole-network topology, channels, distance, loss, RX/TX/Relay roles and red error branches.

The Flow Map is the fastest way to understand why an RX is not delivering power: NO POWER, NO TX, DISCONNECTED, obstruction, speed, gimbal and other link states are visible directly on the network tree.

Blocks and limits • Standard TX: max 1 km. • Long Range TX: 10-100 km class, Large Grid, static grid only. • Long Range RX: may be mobile; transfer stops above 30 m/s and resumes at 28 m/s. • Relay: about 100 m range. Local output: up to 500 W (Small Grid) / 2.2 kW (Large Grid). Persistent 1 kWh emergency reserve, with emergency output limited to 160 W. • Long Range connects only to Long Range; standard Small/Large links are compatible with each other.

Losses Standard: lossless to 100 m; factor = 1 + (distance - 100) / 1000. At 1 km: about 52.6% efficiency.

Long Range: lossless to 10 km; factor = max(1, distance / 10000). At 50 km: 20% efficiency. At 100 km: 10%.

Wireless Power Priority Enabled by default on RX. ON = Tesla power first, local sources cover the deficit. OFF = local-first behavior, Tesla acts as backup.

Long Range TX must be static. Dishes auto-track their paired peer. Terrain, voxels, grids and ships can obstruct the link. Temporary obstruction or RX overspeed suspends transfer without releasing the sticky pair.

Relay / multi-hop Available for Small and Large Grids. Build chains of relay posts that extend the wireless network while powering local street lighting. Each relay supports up to two vanilla spotlights and one standard or wide LCD panel of the matching grid size, within its total local output limit: 500 W for Small Grid or 2.2 kW for Large Grid. Local output and retransmission use real upstream Tesla power. Each relay requests its fixed local power budget, plus up to 160 W for reserve charging, even when local loads use less. Other devices on the same electrical grid share the local output limit. The persistent 1 kWh reserve provides up to 160 W of emergency local output and cannot finance retransmission. Full street-lighting output requires incoming wireless power; the reserve cannot sustain the complete lighting setup during an outage.

Access Owner Only - same owner. Faction - same owner/faction; default. Public - any compatible RX.

PCU Small TX/RX: 100 each Large TX/RX: 100 each Relay: 125 Long Range TX/RX: 150 each

The manual includes quick-start instructions, complete block/range tables, losses, batteries, Relay reserve, Long Range rules, Flow Map/LCD usage, troubleshooting, design patterns and worked engineering examples.

Performance Uses electrical-bus caching, partial topology rebuilds, spatial TX indexing, incremental Long Range checks, budgeted multiplayer queues and reduced redundant visual/LCD work.

Credits Partly inspired by the concept behind PowerShare, by Sherbert & Arkolis. No PowerShare code or assets are used.
