The Borg

Get ready to be assimilated, because the Borg from Star Trek have found their way to the SE universe!

This mod uses MaridiusIX's Modular Encounters Systems mod to spawn Borg Cubes that will hunt you down, rip your ships to shreds, and then I guess eat whatever is left.

The Borg are intended as late-game enemies with heavy armor and enough firepower to wipe out a federation fleet.
They use PCU to determine targets, and will not appear until you have at least 15,000 a 200 km region.
Once they do take interest, though, they will pursue you across space until you either destroy them or succumb. Just watch how big you grow and you should be fine...

The Borg are a tough enemy, but if you can survive them, they surely have some valuable technology of their own. Maybe this whole assimilation business isn't so bad after all?

!Fair Warning! - The Borg Cube is very large, and may cause noticeable game performance issues, mod has not been tested on console!
