USSP Kuvalda

WARNING: STORY AHEAD

The USSP Kuvalda is an improvised capital ship. Welded together by workers of the factory planet Odessa while under siege by NATO forces in 2056, the Kuvalda was able to break through the enemy blockade to signal the Soviet Navy.

The Kuvalda is the result of the combination of a damaged freighter, the engine nacelles of a half-finished Projekt 3356 "Super Shkval", a LOT of duct tape, and a powerful gravitational ore slag separator as its main powerplant.

In addition to the liquid rocket engines of the cannibalized frigate, this repurposed industrial mass driver accelerates the ship at up to 74 m/s^2 forwards and 69 m/s^2 in any other direction. Nobody is sure how the captain survives these continuous G-forces without blacking out, but it probably has something to do with vodka.

I designed the Kuvalda as a protected base ship for survival. It has strongk refining and assembling facilities and all the large containers you could ask for. The gravity drive was intended to let it still have some mobility while carrying cargo, and while its armament may not be advanced it is somewhat potent.

As a very no-frills ship, the Kuvalda also lacks in crew comfort. It is not airtight, has no cryo chambers, and only one survival kit for respawn.

I copied some parts of the upper superstructure from J.D. Horx's IMDC Nestorius. Masterpiece of a ship if any of you haven't seen it already. Other than that it's completely original.
