VC FRV "Shipwright"

The Fabrication and Repair Vehicle “FRV”, or as it is more often affectionately referred to as the “Shipwright”, is Void Corp’s light construction and repair vehicle.

• Forward facing welders (2) • Forward facing spotlight (1) • A welder safety sensor which automatically disables the welders if a person is detected within close range of the welders • Auto alignment sensors and gyroscopes which, when active, automatically orient the craft so that it remains perpendicular to a large surface area. This is useful when fabricating or repairing a large flat section of a ship or station. With this feature one can safely thrust up, down, right, and left without working about crashing into the object being welded because of a slight misalignment • Keel mounted docking connector • Keel mounted landing gear (2) • Keel mounted docking camera and remote – the remote is oriented so that a pilot in the cockpit can control the ship via this remote while viewing the docking camera without the disorientation that normally comes with controlling a ship from a different perspective (i.e. with this remote looking through the downward facing camera, up is still up, down is still down, etc.) • Forward flight remote control tied into a timer – these can be used in tandem to facilitate autopilot functionality • Oxygen tank (1) • Beacon (1), Antenna (1), Laser Antenna (1) • Large Cargo Container (1)
