VC Scout Car

Most often used by the commercial division of Void Corp, the scout car is a light, rugged, and fast vehicle designed with simplicity and economy of scale in mind. Because the car fulfills functions of on and off-road personal transport, light military scout, ore surveyor, and perimeter security vehicle, Void Corp is able to produce these scout cars on a massive scale, thereby reducing the per-vehicle-costs associated with production.

The scout car is able to achieve high speeds safely and, with the use of its stabilizing systems, corners quite well (thrust down when turning at speed). It is also light enough to skim the surface of the ground in a roll-over situation by using its atmospheric thrusters. An operator can then turn the vehicle back onto its wheels using the gyroscopes often without sustaining any damage at all in the process.

If the vehicle does sustain damage the onboard vehicle repair projector can assist operators in speeding along repairs.
