The Type-A is a planetary Fob that serves as a cheap base for the repair and storage of war assets. Unlike the Type-O FOBs, these FOBs require a short assembly period and are not able to be carried on a capital vessel. These have been used on many different worlds across the galaxy and were used in the Korean Trappist civil war. These fobs have light defenses provided by the following turrets:
