Museum Exhibit Plaque
The Type 34 “Merchantman” was a rugged and dependable ship favoured by merchants and prospectors looking to make their fortune in the new frontiers of the Solar System. Built by the York Mining Corporation during the Great Asteroid Rush of the early 2070s, before the advent of efficient ion technology, FTL travel* and gravity manipulation*, the Type 34 is now an arcane relic of a bygone age. Utilising a vertical “Skyscraper” deck layout and powered entirely by hydrogen, the Merchantman was once the pinnacle of human spacecraft. Although rarely seen in use due to it's extreme age, “Big Orange” remains a popular museum exhibit in the Belt.
Description The Type 34 Merchantman is a general purpose spacecraft designed to be useful in Survival. It has a full industrial suite and multiple connectors for attaching auxiliary craft as well as a small hangar. Fully hydrogen powered, the Type 34 can hover on planets using it's rear thrusters and has a planetary flight seat to make atmospheric flight easier. The ship can lift over a kiloton of materials from a gravity well into space and has a jump drive to quicken interplanetary flight.
*The Ship actually features a gravity generator and jump drive. This is for two reasons. A: Magboots make stairs odd to use and they require more clearance. B: Nobody has time for 100m/s. Roleplayers could consider them after market modifications or just ignore/scrap them :D
Instructions Setop lik beltalowda, yaterash beratna, sasa ke?
This ship purposely has little braking thrust. Press 1 in the main spaceflight control seat to execute automated retrobraking.
Notes Oye Beltas! This ship was inspired by The Expanse TV show and the work of these fine creators:

I nicked the green LCD idea from Crimson Adder.
Scripts by Whiplash141 and Mmaster. You have heard of them right?

Yeah, the thumb is flipped left to right, it looked better that way.
