Does Nxeon have a Project Zomboid server datacenter in Philippines?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise: Nxeon's two real datacenters are in Singapore and Falkenstein, Germany, and neither is close to Philippines. This page targets the Filipino Project Zomboid audience; at checkout you pick whichever of our two regions gives you the better round-trip, and there's no hidden "local" tier we're not telling you about.
What ping will I get from Manila?
We have not measured from Manila yet, so we do not quote a ping figure for it. Our measurement tool uses public probe networks and none of them has a probe there. For context only, from other cities we did measure to our Singapore datacenter: Jakarta median 14 ms (10 measurements), Ho Chi Minh City median 44 ms (5 measurements), Tokyo median 69 ms (5 measurements), Mumbai median 63 ms (5 measurements), Sydney median 152 ms (5 measurements). Those are not Manila numbers. If you can run a quick test from your connection, our measurement method is open and we will add volunteer results to our public dataset.
Which plan do I need for Project Zomboid in Philippines?
It depends on your group size: the smallest active plan here is recommended for 8 players, and the largest for 30. Those are sizing guides, not hard caps — start with what fits your current group and resize later in one click, no data loss.
Can I install mods or plugins on my Project Zomboid server?
Yes. Full file access lets you install whatever Project Zomboid's own mod or plugin ecosystem supports, or upload your own configs and world files over FTP.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes — always-on DDoS mitigation and a managed firewall come with every game server at no extra cost.
How fast is setup?
Your Project Zomboid server is provisioned and online within minutes of ordering — no manual install, no waiting on a support ticket.
Is there a player limit?
No player cap from us — up to 100, Project Zomboid's own maximum. Every plan's player number is only a recommendation for smooth performance on that plan's memory and CPU; you set your server's own max players in Settings.
Which size do I need?
Project Zomboid comes in 3 sizes: 6 GB (recommended for about 8 players) at $9.00 a month (first term, then $12.96), 8 GB (recommended for about 16 players) at $15.00 a month (first term, then $21.60) and 12 GB (recommended for about 30 players) at $24.00 a month (first term, then $34.56). The picker above recommends one for your player count and mods, and you can resize later.
Will my server lag?
Your server runs on NVMe hardware in Singapore, and the size picker recommends enough memory for your players and mods. If you grow, resize from the panel in a click.
What happens if my server gets attacked?
Every game server sits behind the Nxeon Shield: five layers of DDoS filtering that scrub attack traffic before it reaches your world.
Are my worlds backed up?
Switch on scheduled backups in your server’s panel and it keeps the last 2 daily restore points, ready to roll back to.
Can I change size later?
Yes. Resize from the panel whenever your community is ready.
Is this Build 42?
Yes. Build 42 is the server type new Project Zomboid servers start on. You can start from a Build 42 preset with a few popular multiplayer mods, or from a clean server and add Workshop mods later.
Do you offer custom servers for big communities?
Yes. If you need more than 12 GB, a network of linked servers or dedicated hardware, talk to us and we’ll size and quote a custom setup.
