Dismantle Guard

DismantleGuard adds an extra safety lock to Palworld's World Map base dismantle action, helping prevent an accidental button press from putting an entire base one confirmation away from being dismantled.

Instead of immediately opening Palworld's dismantle confirmation, the action must first be deliberately pressed 10 times on the same base.

HOW IT WORKS

• Dismantle starts locked

When a base is selected on the World Map, the normal dismantle option shows:

Dismantle the base [Locked]

• Press the dismantle button 10 times to unlock it

The label counts down as you press:

[9] → [8] → [7] → ... → [3] → [2] → [1]

• The final 3 presses turn red

[3], [2], and [1] are highlighted in red as an additional warning.

• Palworld's normal confirmation is still preserved

After the safety countdown is cleared, the next press opens Palworld's usual dismantle confirmation.

SAFETY RESETS

• Moving focus away from the selected base resets the countdown back to [Locked]

• Closing the World Map also resets the countdown

So the lock has to be cleared deliberately in one continuous attempt on the same base.

PERMANENT LOCK

Launch game once so mod creates Saved\config.lua.

Close game and open Saved\config.lua and change

PermanentLock = false to PermanentLock = true .

LOCALIZATION

DismantleGuard follows Palworld's supported language variants for the base dismantle label and [Locked] indicator.
