[Guten] Expedition Timer HUD

After subscribing, enable the mod in-game under Options → Mod Management (Palworld mod support is opt-in).

MULTIPLAYER

CLIENT-SIDE MOD — each player installs it Linux dedicated servers are fine: nothing is installed on the server, so its operating system does not matter here.

Mod not updating?

If a new version does nothing, the mod loader has not reinstalled it: it trusts its own install record instead of checking the disk, so the mod looks active in the mod list and does nothing. Close the game, open Steam → right-click Palworld → Manage → Browse local files, delete the loader's install record for this mod and start the game — it will reinstall it from scratch:

• Mods\ManagedMods\GutenExpeditionHUD

Do not delete the mod's own folder (Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\GutenExpeditionHUD): the loader does not recreate it for Lua mods, and the mod stays gone until you resubscribe. If it still does not come back, unsubscribe and resubscribe with the game closed — a fresh download always makes the loader reinstall.

Know when your expeditions are done without walking to the station — a small countdown in the corner of your screen, showing how long the slowest one still needs.

How it works

• A compact readout appears in the top-left corner while expeditions are running: the game's own expedition dial, with the progress ring and the clock.
• The time shown is the longest one left, so when it hits zero, everything is ready to collect.
• The title line says how many are running, so one glance answers both questions.
• It counts every base, not just the one you are standing in.
• It hides itself when nothing is running, and comes back on its own when you send a team out.

No keys to press and no menu: it is simply there when it has something to say.

Good to know

• The countdown is the game's own number — the same one the station shows.
• It keeps running when you travel away. The game stops reporting the time for bases you are far from, which used to freeze the readout or hide it; now it counts down on its own and re-syncs with the game as soon as it answers again.
• It is drawn with the game's own expedition widget, so it matches the rest of your HUD.
• Stations sitting idle or waiting for you to collect their rewards are not counted: they have no countdown to show.
• Want the position elsewhere? Scripts/main.lua starts with a POSITION and a SCALE constant.

Uninstalling

Safe at any time. Nothing is stored and nothing about expeditions changes — remove the mod and the readout is simply gone.
