Tired of having your weapon out 24/7? Helpful Holster lets you holster your currently equipped weapon or item whenever you want.

Installation

UE4SS is required.

After subscribing to the mod:

[olist] [*]Launch the game and wait until you reach the title screen. [*]Go to Options → Mod Management. [*]Make sure Enable Mod is set to ON. [*]Ensure the checkbox next to Helpful Holster is checked. [*]Click the blue Save button. The game will restart. [*]After restarting, Helpful Holster will be enabled. [/olist]

Default Controls

Keyboard & Mouse

• H (Hold for 0.6 seconds by default)

Controller

• Y (Xbox)
• Triangle (PlayStation)

The hold duration and control mode (Hold/Toggle) are fully configurable.

Configuration

To edit the mod settings, open:

.../Palworld/Mods/NativeMods/UE4SS/Mods/HelpfulHolster/Scripts/config.lua

You can customize:

• Button bindings
• Hold duration
• Toggle vs. Hold behavior

Tip: Make sure the button you choose isn't already being used by another mod to avoid input conflicts.

Changing the Default Key

Helpful Holster uses Unreal Engine EKey names for input bindings.

Copy the desired EKey name and replace the value inside the quotation marks in your config.lua file.

Example:

KeyboardBinding = "P"

This would bind the holster action to the P key.
