Item Catalog
by virtualbjörn
Look up items without leaving Palworld. Browse a native item grid, search by name, and see crafting recipes, technology requirements and where an item comes from.

Using the catalog
Load a world and press F2, or open Options → Item Catalog below Journals. Select an item, switch categories with the tabs or Q/E, and scroll the details panel. Close with F2, the close button or the native cancel action.

What's included
- Crafting ingredients, alternate recipes, technology requirements and recipes that use the selected item.
- Separate NPC, Pal, World Loot and Shop source tabs, with up to ten entries per page.
- Pal and NPC drop quantities and recorded chances, tower and raid completion rewards, Ranch production and merchant offers.
- Source portraits and encounter icons, World Tree spawn notes, ancient-ruin rewards and Ancient Relic Recycler inputs.
- Chest thumbnails with a larger hover preview. Elemental chests use matching models; ordinary chest images are representative.

Requirements and installation
Subscribe to Item Catalog and the required UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) Workshop item. Enable both in Palworld's Mod Management menu, then restart the game. This is a Windows Steam client mod; dedicated servers do not need it.
Use only one Item Catalog installation. Remove an existing manual ItemCatalog installation before switching to Workshop, and do not install a second UE4SS loader.

Coverage and limitations
Loot sources are a bundled game-data snapshot. Other mods, server settings and progression can change what you receive. World Loot does not show percentage chances because lottery weights alone are not per-item drop probabilities. Harvesting and butchering coverage is incomplete.
World Tree labels describe recorded spawn coverage for the listed level range, not a guaranteed geographical drop restriction. Ranch levels describe production rank. Some source names remain fallbacks. Native item and character names use available localization; custom headings and fallback text are currently English.

Configuration and removal
Scripts/config.lua controls the hotkey, essential-item visibility, formatted descriptions and verbose logging. F2 at the main menu opens a portrait preview rather than the full catalog.
To uninstall, disable Item Catalog in Mod Management, unsubscribe, and restart Palworld. Preserve UE4SS and other mods.
