Replaces Palworld's five-entry Base Info list with a compact portrait grid for the Pals deployed at your current base.

Features

• Five-column roster displayed in deployment-slot order.
• Configurable display limit: 50 Pals by default or unlimited with maxVisible = 0.
• Negative-condition labels shown beneath the correct portrait, with multiple conditions rotating every three seconds.
• Optional portrait badges for Short Break, Hot Spring, Slacking, Slacking Intense, Upset, Stress Eating, Hard Worker, and Slow Worker. All custom badges can be shown or hidden together.
• Palworld's eating, sleeping, resting, and working icons retained without overlap.
• Pal Work Mode and Pal Alert Status placed on compact single lines.
• Immediate updates when entering or changing bases, plus +N when the configured limit hides Pals.
• Alt+F7 toggles between the grid and Palworld's original list.

Requirements and setup

1. Subscribe to this mod and its required UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) item. 2. Open Palworld's Options > Mod Management screen and enable both items. 3. Save the changes and allow the game to restart.

Optional DarnMenu support

DarnMenu is optional but recommended for players who want to personalize the grid without editing files manually. With DarnMenu installed, open ESC > Mod Options > Pal Base Info Grid to configure the roster limit, attention filtering, columns, cell dimensions, portrait scale and placement, condition labels, responsive font layouts, compact headers, grid decorations, and portrait-badge size and position.

Most visual options update while the grid is active. Settings that change the grid's underlying structure are marked as requiring a restart. Pal Base Info HUD Grid continues to work normally with its default configuration when DarnMenu is not installed.

Manual configuration

Close Palworld before editing PalBaseInfoGrid/Scripts/config.lua.

The file contains the same canonical defaults and additional advanced controls. Set cleanGridDecorations to true for the default cleaned grid, or false to retain Palworld's original lines, rectangles, and markers.

Compatibility and support

• Steam version of Palworld.
• Entirely client-side; does not modify gameplay, servers, or save data.
• PalSchema is not required.
• Primarily tested at 16:9. Ultrawide remains unverified.

Known limitation: when changing between bases with different work modes, the work-mode value may update shortly after the portrait grid.
