Shrinks your party pals and base worker pals. Wild pals are never touched.
== Features ==
1. Size reduction - Separate scales for party pals and base workers - Different scale per size class (XS, S, M, L, XL) - Alpha (boss) pals tuned separately for ground and flying types - Exclude specific pals (ExcludeCharacterIds) or pin an exact size per species (SizeOverrides)
2. Automatic ride camera adjustment - The camera pulls in to match your shrunken mount - Ground and flying mounts have separate strength and height settings - Right-click aiming automatically returns to the vanilla aim zoom
3. Per-species ride camera tuning (new) - Tune the camera of the pal you are riding, in game - Open the settings while mounted and the Ride Camera tab opens automatically - Camera distance, height, aim zoom and aim height are saved per species - Variants sharing the same body get the same values automatically - Switch mounts and the card follows within a second - Change a value, press Apply, and see the result immediately while still riding
4. In-game settings UI - Adds a Small Party Members button to the ESC menu - Change every scale in game and apply instantly - English and Korean supported. Change it right in the settings, fully applies after a restart
5. Per-species size (new) - Make specific species smaller or larger than their size class - Multiplies on top of the class scale. 1.0 = unchanged, 0.8 = 20% smaller, 1.5 = 50% larger (0.1 - 3.0) - The list shows only the L/XL pals you own, and stays collapsed - Includes an "Alpha = Normal Size" option. Alphas sit one size class higher and have ~1.45x bodies, so both are undone
== Safety ==
- Wild pals are never touched. No effect on catching or combat balance - Sizes are never written to your save file. Remove the mod and every pal returns to its original size automatically (uninstall safe) - Collision shrinking is optional. Turn it off and only the visuals shrink while movement and hitboxes stay vanilla
== How to use ==
- Install and play. Default scales apply immediately - ESC menu - Small Party Members to adjust scales - Open the settings while riding to tune that mount camera directly - Advanced options live in Scripts/config.lua. Press F4 in game to reload without restarting
== Default scales (percent) ==
- Party pals: XS 100 / S 100 / M 80 / L 60 / XL 45 - Base workers: XS 100 / S 90 / M 70 / L 50 / XL 45 - Base camp bosses get an extra 15-20 percent reduction - Everything is configurable
== Warnings ==
- Dedicated servers and multiplayer are untested. Built for single player. May misbehave in multiplayer - Do not combine with other pal size mods (including pak based ones). They will fight over the same pals - Pressing Backspace while typing in the settings closes the menu. This is default game behavior. Click a field and simply type the new value over the selection. Your edits are preserved if the menu closes, so reopen and continue
== FAQ ==
- Safe on an existing save: yes. Sizes are never written to the save, so installing or removing at any time is safe - Performance cost: about one millisecond per second during normal play. Newly spawned pals are handled by a spawn hook, so the heavy full scan runs only rarely - My Grandwhale did not shrink: intended default. It looks best big, so it ships on the exclusion list. Remove it in the settings if you want it small too - A pal flashed back to full size for a moment: the game sometimes resets sizes and the mod reapplies within a second. This is normal - Some mounts sit or frame oddly: open the Ride Camera tab while riding that pal and adjust distance and height. Camera defaults vary wildly between species, so a few need individual tuning
== Requirements ==
- UE4SS Experimental Build
== Tips ==
- Camera distance: 1 is vanilla, move by 1. Species with an extremely close camera fit best between 2 and 5 - Camera height: move by 100. Negative values raise the camera - Found good values? Share the species id and your three numbers in the comments so others can copy them straight into config.lua or the settings UI
