3D Curtains & Blinds

The base game's curtains, blinds, bedsheets, hospital curtains, tent flaps and shop awnings as real 3D models for Project Viewpoint.

In first person, Viewpoint shows these pieces as a flat picture stuck on the wall. This mod gives each of them a real shape, built piece by piece and checked in game one by one.

• Every curtain and blind remade - new models, lighter than before.
• Hospital curtains - the curtains of the hospital wards.
• Tent flaps - the military tents' doors, green and tan.
• Shop awnings - the canvas awnings over shop fronts and restaurants.
• 172 pieces in all, up from 128.

What you get

• Curtains - draped cloth on its rod, open or drawn, in all 12 colours of the game.
• Roller blinds - a real roll at the top, the blind down in front of the window or rolled up.
• Bedsheets - the sheet you nail over a window yourself, spread or gathered up.
• Hospital curtains, tent flaps, shop awnings - see above.
• The game's own look - every piece keeps the colours and details of the original art.
• Works on existing saves - nothing is added to the game: the models attach to the tiles that are already there. Add or remove the mod at any time.

Made to sit next to your other Viewpoint packs

• Plays well with the big packs - built alongside "6277 3D models for Viewpoint", KK's Shelves, Living Props and 3D Fences. Where another pack also has a model for one of these pieces (tents, awnings, two hospital curtains), this mod's version is the one you see.
• Light - about 200 to 600 triangles for a curtain or a blind. Viewpoint only draws model packs around the player.
• Content only - no Java, no patch to Viewpoint's code: it registers models through Viewpoint's model packs.

Requirements

• Project Viewpoint - required: without it this mod does nothing.
• Build 42.13+
• Multiplayer - purely visual and client side; each player who wants the 3D pieces needs the mod.

FAQ

A piece sits wrong on one wall? Tell me which piece and which wall (north, south, east, west), and I will fix it. I prefer another pack's tent or awning. Turn this mod off in Viewpoint's settings (Delete key, World / Model packs), or unsubscribe.
