🎇I'M REALLY GLAD YOU ALL HAVE ENJOYED THE MAP SO FAR! THANKS FOR ALL THE FEEDBACK! :D 🎇

****************************************************************************

-Checkpoint modes have lots of objectives! PREPARE YASELF.
-Look for ammo and weapon pickups, and some mounted mgs! Some crates stay open if you can sneak back to them!
-Most buildings can be accessed! Lots of places to defend and explore! I would recommend sticking together in at least a group of 2!
-High and low areas to ambush enemies!
-Open areas for a challenge!
-A variety of tighter and more open objectives and engagements!
-Some secret areas and easter eggs!
-No restricted areas!
-Night mode!
-Small version of TDM/DOM/CPT is available to fight in a closer space!

-Please note this is a pretty large map. Use the technicals to your advantage on all modes!

****My map should be compatible with other mods as far as I know. I did not build using mods or mutators in the editor. If you have issues, please double check all of your outside mod settings and server settings.

STORY:

INSURGENTS:

The people in the state you are in have been protesting the mercenary occupation of several cities. A military industrial corporation has been gaining profits by buying oil producing land from the corrupt country's leaders. A state government has now decided to go behind the president's back and reach out to your group for help. They have a job for you in one of the western cities near the mountains. This place is an important source of taxes and opiates, and the angry citizens have not been paying their share. They have been citing environmental concerns about the corporation's oil field and newly constructed station. Their mercenaries' wild behavior in the town has been pissing off a lot of people. The state promised that they would let your group take control of the station once you get rid of the problem. They are happy that you have been helping other towns, and you can keep them safe with a new base.

Your boss and the mayor decided the holiday weekend would be the perfect chance to get rid of the mercenaries, as they always wanted an excuse to party. Luckily the people in town had enough stuff to help you drug them up. You and a few of the guys managed to cut power to the station's internet and comms equipment during the celebrations. After that, you were able to eliminate the mercs quite easily and get to the oil office. There was hardly any resistance from the oil workers, as only one of them was armed. You had no choice but to kill him when he tried to call for backup and pointed his 9mm at you. You shot down any heli's that tried to escape, as you didn't want anyone from the corporation to know what just happened. The oil workers who didn't resist were taken as hostages and have been placed at your camp in the local hills. They will be there until your boss can figure out what the government wants to do with them.

A few days have passed, and you have still been cleaning up the garbage and merc bodies. You are thinking you can let the townspeople go home soon..... However, news from an informant in the next town over reaches you, the corporation mobilized and is sending an elite and somewhat more sober unit to investigate! Just when you thought this was over too, UGH! Now prepare to fight to keep what belongs to you and the people!

SECURITY:

Up until recently, there has been mostly peaceful relations with your company and the president of this middle eastern country. However, corporate has been on high alert for the last few months. An insider at the capitol leaked to them that there is an insurgent movement in a state nearby that has been growing stronger. They are not happy with outsiders buying up all of the land and using it for profit and pmc activities. Several of the oil fields have been seeing an increase in vandalism attacks by the angry locals. Since then, the corporation has started building a new base of operations in a town at one of the more important oil sites to protect it.

Communication with them has been slow as they are still setting things up. A holiday has passed, and you know they like to party, but they should have been back to work by now. You haven't heard from your friend who works at the oil field office for almost a week now which has you worried. Even with there being construction and spotty connections, you should have heard from him as he always calls you when he can. Come to think of it, none of your friends at your posting have heard anything about that new station there either. There were no logs from the tank and heli crews after they should have been sent over, no word or timecard punches from any of the oil or construction workers.... and the comms station and office computers simply will not respond, how odd. What happened to them? Is the power or internet out? Why are there no recent radar logs and radio calls
