Tired of your ships disintegrating during reentry? Well now, heavy armor also functions as a heat shield!
Overview
If you use the Aerodynamic mod and also have some speed mods installed, you probably have run into the problem that atmospheric reentry at high speeds is virtually impossible. With this mod, heavy armor blocks, hydro thrusters and -though to a lesser extent- atmo thrusters gain durability aganist heating and heat damage.
This does not mean that they are completely immune, though- heavy armor will provide protection until 800-900 m/s and will slowly ablate afterwards. Thrusters will do well until 300-400 m/s, however I recommend you build some protection as atmo thrusters may still get damaged.
The goal behind this mod is not to create perfectly heat-resistant blocks, but instead provide you with one way of surviving reentry given that you do the engineering right.
Notes
Naturally, this mod requires Draygos Aerodynamic Physics mod and Definition Extentions API to function.
